SPERIAN Protection has launched the Miller TechLine, which provides safety when working at heights in applications without overhead anchorage.
According to the distributor, the product can support up to two workers at a time, and features a 16mm polyester high visibility low stretch lifeline.
The lifeline is said to have high abrasion resistance for tough conditions, while reducing fall clearance requirements.
The system includes two heavy-duty cross arm straps which secure the lifeline to an anchorage point using a self-locking snaphook. A connecting ‘O’ ring connects a lanyard or self-retracting lifeline to the system for increased mobility at heights.
An In-Line Shock Absorber reduces fall arrest forces in the event of a fall, limiting such forces to 11.2kN. A zinc plated Line Adjuster can be used to adjust the length of the rope to achieve correct pre-tension.
