JEMTECH says it has released a new safety controller software module allowing the use of two-hand control stations as the start system.
These control stations require the simultaneous activation of two start buttons to trigger and hold the safety system output.
Standard controllers require only a single input from a footpedal. The Vigilant/V4SX control unit will allow both the traditional option, and the use of two hand buttons.
This option can eliminate additional safety relay hardware and wiring. The user can switch between the different controls depending on the applications.
The safety controller can be set up with or without additional safety light curtains. If the light curtains are eliminated, the safety system can be built to be both economical and suited for machine operation.
