Oliver Footwear safety shoes achieve CE mark

OLIVER Footwear says its AT 55, AT 65 and ST 44 safety footwear have been awarded CE Standards approval.

The CE mark is the common European quality standard. It is used on a range of products and indicates that the item meets all the essential health and safety requirements of the relevant European Directives.

The term CE is derived from the French ‘Conformite EuropĂ©enne’ and was first adopted in 1985.

According to Oliver Footwear, the company has been certified by SAI Global Assurance Service for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Directive No 89/686/EEC and carries the CE mark accordingly.
