FLOORSAFE International has released a heavy-duty anti-slip safety stair nosing for harsh environments and high-traffic areas.
According to the company, the R-MN stair nosing is suited for mines and off-shore environments.
The nosing is made of 1.6mm thick galvanised metal or stainless steel. The plate is prepared with a primer coat, and coated with three coloured layers of chemical resistant two-part polyurethane. Non-slip aluminium oxide granules are incorporated into the coatings.
The product comes in three standard sizes, but the manufacturer says it can be custom made to size. Safety yellow is standard, but the colours can also be changed to any Australian standard variety.
