Ergonomic safety work boots

OLIVER Footwear has released a series of safety workboots said to have enhanced ergonomics and heavy-duty safety features.

The AT55 All Terrain workboots has a nanolite footbed, said to enhance underfoot cover. The sole has a raised surface which massages workers’ feet as they walk to promote blood flow. This is said to reduce fatigue.

The boots also have a perforated foam air control layer to increase circulation of air and reduce foot odour, and special cushioning for the heel and ball of the foot.

On the outside of the boot, the company claims an all terrain outer tread pattern improves grip, while the leather uppers are water resistant, and a wide profile type one protective toecap is suited for industrial work.

The company claims the anti-static rubber outer sole can withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius, and the Kevlar threading on certain seams will hold the boots together for longer.

The AT55 series comes in five styles. There are three 150mm lace-up mid-cut boots with a choice of materials such as wheat nubuck leather, claret or black leather uppers, a traditional elastic sided boot with black leather uppers, and a hi-leg zip sided boot with wheat nubuck leather uppers.

According to the company, the safety footwear is suited for building and construction, resource and mining support applications.
