BOC has released the G-TECTA portable gas detection instruments, for monitoring carbon dioxide, oxygen, ozone gases, hydrogen sulphide and methane.
According to the manufacturer, the instruments issue both visual and aural alerts when the gas being monitored is detected. They have upward-facing displays for quick views of readings.
The company claims the devices are designed for ease of use, with one-button operation, and a highly visible bright red appearance with reflective labels.
The products in the range can be connected to a PC or docking station, so users can manage settings and download data for accountability purposes.
G-TECTA 4G unit can detect oxygen gas, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide and methane. It has a 95dB audible alarm, and has an automatic backlight that activates when an alarm activates.
