WorkSafe Victoria’s campaign for Return to Work awareness

WORKSAFE Victoria has launched an extensive campaign to raise awareness about the importance of getting injured workers back to work.

According to WorkSafe Victoria, its ‘Return to work, Return to life’ television commercial is airing on Victorian television sets. The advertisement illustrates how returning to work is a vital part of an injured worker’s recovery, and their return to normal life.

The TV commercial is part of a broader return to work campaign that includes a redesigned ‘If you are injured’ poster that will be sent to every Victorian employer, an employer Return to Work support kit to be released in august 2009, and online, radio and billboard advertisements.

WorkSafe Victoria has highlighted its Return to Work website, where online audiences can watch real stories from an employer, a worker, a doctor and a WorkSafe Agent Case Manager.

The website also includes two animations that explain the Return to Work experience and the roles, the obligations and the rights of everyone involved.

To receive all important and relevant Return to Work information, interested parties should input their details on the Return to Work Coordinator Register by 22 July 2009.
