WorkSafe Victoria announces winners of 21st Annual WorkSafe Victoria Awards

WORKSAFE Victoria has announced the winners of its 21st Annual WorkSafe Victoria Awards, recognising individuals and companies who are creating safer workplaces.

Among the six winners was Phyl Hilton from Toyota Motor Corporation for Health and Safety Representative of the Year and Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE for Best Solution to a Health and Safety Risk.

WorkSafe’s Executive Director, Health and Safety, John Merritt says people and organisations taking part in the awards are leading the way and demonstrating the type of activity needed to reduce the number of preventable deaths and injuries.

There were 118 entries with 19 finalists in this year’s Awards from which the six recipients were chosen.
