Things to do at The Safety Show Sydney

THE SAFETY Show Sydney will provide workshops on manual handling, bullying, compliance and safe work at heights from 27 to 29 October 2009.

The Safety Show Sydney is part of the national Safe Work Week, and is concurrently held with the Sydney Materials Handling show. CleanScene:  The National Cleaning and Hygiene Expo will also run alongside the events.

The Safety Show Sydney and Sydney Materials Handling will present more than 300 exhibitors. Many of these will be new to the events.

Principal sponsor, WorkCover NSW, will present three free seminars daily: Workers Compensation — What you need to know, Manual Handling and Smart Move Tool Kit, and Preventing and Dealing with Workplace Bullying.

Workplace Access & Safety is also holding a one-hour free safe work at heights workshop. The workshop will show visitors how to make their work sites safe and compliant with fall prevention regulations.

Other live action at The Safety Show and Sydney Materials Handling includes the demonstration stage and safety theatre programs, where visitors will see products from a diverse range of exhibitors in operation.
