SAGE Technology’s SageSURPASS safe system of work software solution has been commended in the Industrial Application category of the 2010 Victorian iAwards.
SageSURPASS is a web-based safe work software product which integrates the typically disparate but related functionalities of permit to work, isolation management, hazard identification and risk management.
The extensive configurability options built into SageSURPASS enables it to meet the different ISSoW requirements of a wide range of industries.
The software was named as a finalist in the national awards hosted by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA).
According to Sage Technology, the Industrial Applications category recognises ICT innovation that delivers improved outcomes in industrial processes or activity.
It may be any application of software and/or hardware that enables engineering automation, improves the effectiveness of product and service development or increases efficiency and productivity.
The entries were judged on their uniqueness, innovation and trend setting properties, marketability, functionalities and features, as well as product quality.
Sage Technology says the commendation recognised the significant investment that the company has made in developing SageSURPASS.
