RCSA reiterates calls for recruitment industry to practice workplace safety vigilance

THE RECRUITERS and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) has reiterated calls from WorkSafe Victoria for the recruitment industry to be more vigilant in workplace safety for on-hire workers.

RCSA policy spokesman Charles Cameron says there is no excuse for businesses to not have occupational health and safety management systems in place.

“Combined with their respective state’s workplace safety body, on-hire firms should have everything they need in order to put in place safety management systems that protect all on-hired staff, whether they are supplying white or blue collar industries,” Mr Cameron said.

RCSA is funded by WorkSafe Victoria to deliver free OHS consulting to small business members. It also provides workplace relations and safety resources.
