The Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland, Electrical and Communications Association Queensland and the Master Builders will support the Queensland Safety Show when it returns to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 16 to 18 June 2009.

The Queensland Safety Show is being concurrently held with Queensland Materials Handling and the Queensland Safety Conference.

Queensland Materials Handling and the Queensland Safety Show will cover a combined 7500 square metres of specialist safety products and services presented by over 200 exhibitors.

New to the show is a fire and security feature area, and organisers claim there will be many new OHS exhibitors. The fire and security feature area will host suppliers of fire preparedness training, investigation training, fire monitoring systems, closed circuit television (CCTV), intercoms, access control and security systems.

The Queensland Safety Conference will feature around workplace health and safety experts. Sponsored by Workplace Health & Safety Queensland and presented by the Queensland and Northern Territory division of the Safety Institute of Australia, the conference aims to advance the science of safety and provide practical solutions immediate workplace implementation.
