THE INTERNATIONAL Powered Access Federation (IPAF) says its display at the Bauma 2010 construction show from 19 to 25 April will feature demonstrations on safety and best practice.
According to IPAF, its display will feature a walk-through learning experience on what powered access is and how to use it safely and effectively.
The IPAF stand will demonstrate the benefits of powered access and how to use such equipment safely.
IPAF says it will be awarding an IPAF Design Prize at the exhibition to the best-designed harness for female operators. This competition is still ongoing and all entries must be received by 15 March 2010.
Scissor lifts, boom lifts, trailer mounted access platforms and large workspace platforms are examples of powered access equipment.
