An excavator operator has been crushed to death in a sand quarry in South Gippsland, Victoria.
The Korumburra man was operating an excavator when the machine was engulfed. He died at the scene at around 12.30pm (AEDT) this Monday.
WorkSafe is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
