Enerpac launched a series of safety audits, correct maintenance programmes, and staff training programmes to minimise risk and downtime, in addition to maximising safety and tool availability.

The Enerpac Safety Audit and Maintenance (SAM) programmes focus on delivering safety, productivity and cost-savings when using high force hydraulic tools.

It has a range of more than 1000 hydraulic cylinders widely used throughout Australasian industry as well as hydraulic pumps available in more than 1,000 configurations, according to the company.

Enerpac’s Think Safety programmes is designed to train staff to ensure a zero accident rate using all makes and models of compact and powerful high pressure (typically 700 bar, 10,000psi) tools.

“The programmes draw on our global experience with industry leaders, complemented by more than 50 years Australasian experience on hugely diverse projects in the most aggressive environments,” said Enerpac regional manager, Australia and New Zealand, Tony Brooks.

“Through our Authorised Service Centres, we offer global reach with local support, delivering the engineering expertise that responds to local site conditions and needs,” he said.

Enerpac projects in Australasia range from supply and servicing of individual tools through to its Integrated Solutions projects dedicated to lifting, shifting and manoeuvring some of the world’s heaviest and most challenging objects and structures.

These include lifting, maneuvering and balancing mining draglines, bridges, dredges, mineral processing mills and heavy oil, gas and construction mobile and static plant, according to Enerpac.
