Details emerge on Comcare National Conference

THE PROGRAM for the Comcare National Conference has been released, and Comcare says it is now taking online registration.

The Comcare National Conference will take place between 23 and 25 September at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.

Keynote speakers at the Comcare National Conference include futurist Dr Keith Suter, productivity expert Andrew May, Deputy Public Service Commissioner Carmel McGregor, the deputy CEO of The Australian Institute of Health Workforce Innovation, Professor Niki Ellis, and Lieutenant General David Hurley, Vice Chief of the Defence Force.

According to Comcare, the conference is suited for people who are involved in the management of workplace safety and rehabilitation at all levels.

The Comcare National Conference will feature a number of talks. The first day will see Tony Bradford from the Centre for Corporate Health talking about how health, safety and rehabilitation practitioners can maintain focus on injury prevention in challenging times.

The Australian Taxation Office, CSIRO, Department of Finance and Deregulation will also present a workshop featuring government agency case studies on psychological injuries.
