LIQUID Learning is holding its second Annual Contractor Safety Alignment Conference in Melbourne on 17 and 18 September 2008.

According to the company, the rapid growth and expansion in the resources, construction and utilities sector has led to a demand for outsourcing contractors across every industry.

With such growth, contractor safety becomes even more important. According to the organisers, the 2008 conference will aim to align the vision and values of companies to the contracting firm.

The event is touted as “highly informative and interactive”. Experts and practitioners from various organisations will explore strategies to reduce risk in contractor accidents through shared safety cultures, integrated systems and aligned safety standards.
