THE AUSTRALIAN Institute of Occupational Hygienists are holding seminars on respirable crystalline silica in August 2009.
The respirable crystalline silica seminars will look at the occurrence and properties of respirable crystalline silica (RCS), exposure sources of RCS, health effects of RCS, exposure standards, risk and incidence, and ways to control exposure to RCS.
The seminars will also look at the future for RCS, and whether it has similarities to asbestos.
